XATP Commissions 630kWp Rooftop Solar Power Project
As part of our commitment to sustainable development and carbon reduction, XATP has officially completed and commissioned its distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in 2024.
With an investment of over RMB 2 million, the project utilizes idle factory rooftop space to install a distributed PV system with a total installed capacity of 630 kWp, connected to the grid at 380V low voltage. The system operates under a “self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid” model, effectively reducing electricity costs while improving energy efficiency.

Efficient Use of Space, Long-Term Value
The solar panels are installed using color steel roof mounting structures, with a designed service life of 25 years. By activating unused rooftop assets, the project enhances fixed asset utilization while generating stable long-term returns.
Construction & Commissioning
After evaluating proposals from seven solar companies across different regions—covering system design, construction cost, projected returns, and long-term maintenance—we finalized our partner and began material delivery in late April.
Installation officially started on May 2, including panel installation, electrical wiring, inverter setup, grid connection, and maintenance access construction. After more than two weeks of efficient execution, the system was successfully connected to the grid and began power generation on May 22.

Measurable Environmental Impact
Once fully operational, the PV system is expected to:
Generate approximately 600,000 kWh of electricity annually
Save about 200 tons of standard coal per year
Reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 600 tons annually
Deliver an environmental benefit equivalent to planting around 300 trees per year
Supporting Growth with Clean Energy
Solar power is a safe, clean, and renewable energy source that produces zero emissions and zero pollution during operation. By adopting photovoltaic energy, XATP not only lowers its overall energy consumption and peak electricity costs, but also supports production expansion while meeting government energy-saving and emission-reduction targets.

This solar PV project marks another important step in XATP’s journey toward greener manufacturing and responsible growth—reinforcing our commitment to environmental responsibility while strengthening our long-term competitiveness.
